New Experience

**My senior year in college I knew for sure that I did not want to work the typical 9 to 5. I began searching for other alternatives all summer before I started school. I searched but didnt find anything of interest. I found many companies on the internet but I was not to quick to trust what they were offering. As soon as school started I gave up on my search not knowing that the opportunity would be presented to me through a friend Jamell Fields.
**After seeing a presentation I realized this is something I would like to do. I knew I didnt have much experience in network marketing but I was willing to learn. I took the opinions of my parents very seriously before getting started. I knew I had their support when they each gave me the money to get started. That night after my graduation party I took the first step towards my new experience.
**I got started in network marketing a little over a month ago. It has not been easy but I have had alot of help from Jamell. Everything was new to me I was use to marketing the way I was taught in retail. Where everyone there came for the objective to shop you did not have to go out searching for anyone. All I had to do was stand behind a cash register smile ring up their purchases and I may not see that customer anymore. In network marketing I had to learn a new way of interacting with someone a smile was only one factor of it. Even though retail may have seemed easier I will not miss the rude customers and managers pushing monthly sales quotas on me.
**The most important lesson I learned about network marketing is you have to step outside your comfort zone. Iam the quiet type wont say alot and not to open with others. I didnt really open up until my junior year in college and begin to actually talk to my classmates everyday in class. Other than that I went to class talk to maybe a few people and sometimes none took a few notes and left. I knew if I really wanted to do this I had to learn to open up to people and talk to them first. Basically I had to step out of my comfort zone of just talking when I wanted to or as I did in retail just smile and say a few words or enough to complete the sale and reach my quota.
** Since I started with Traverus I have been able to put my new marketing skills into action. I now build my business by the power of the internet. I still have fun meeting new people passing out business cards and sometimes even flyers, but my coach showed me how to sponsor people all over the world I don't know. Now that's Fun!!!
